July 8 UPDATE from Pastors/Elders

Parkside Pastor and Elders met on April 16.  Here is an update based on decisions they made:

Also- our most recent e-mail update sent to go along with this video message:

Hello, Parksiders!

Before reading this weekly update, let me share Deuteronomy 4:39: “Acknowledge and take heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on earth below. There is no other.” We are to take heart THIS DAY. Not when things get better or when we know more about the future or when…anything. As long as it is called ‘today,’ God is God of all. Nothing is above Him; nothing is beyond Him. And this great God is our Lord and Savior!! When we can acknowledge and believe this, how can we not be encouraged!

Here is our weekly update with all the latest and greatest information on Parkside Bible Church:

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Easter Drive-In Service a big success! The service was well attended by both Parksiders and the community. TV and newspaper coverage was very positive, and many in the community were uplifted by the event. Thank you especially to Loren Knapp, owner of the Black River Drive-In for allowing us to meet there at no cost and his assistance in getting things up and running! Also thank you to our volunteers in helping with parking and sound!

The elder board has decided to continue to cooperate with our state & local officials in keeping people safe. Therefore, all on-site ministries and meetings will continue the suspension until Monday, May 18th. Awana, Sunday Services, Worship Wednesdays, Children’s Ministry, MOPS, and other ministries will continue to meet online.

On Sunday, May 3rd, we will once again share communion together online. Please be prepared with your own “bread” and “cup.”

On Sunday, May 10th (Mother’s Day), we will once again hold a church service at the Black River Drive-In! If you can, we would love for you to join us! (Just a reminder that social distancing, no bathroom facilities, staying in our cars, etc. will be observed.)

A new 30-minute Monday Prayer Moment will begin this Monday, April 20th led by Melissa Narinesingh-Perez. If you would like to participate, please contact the church office to receive the online code needed.

Finally, thank you for your faithful financial support to the ministries here at Parkside and our mission to serve the King! Your generosity and commitment to the Lord are heart-warming and encouraging to all our leaders and volunteers!

Be blessed and take heart!

In the King’s Service,

Parkside Pastors and Elders
